Giulia Rubino was born in Sicily, Italy. Island in the center of Mediterranean sea, crossroads of peoples and empires throughout human history. Maybe it is for this reason that she has always been interested in discovering the cultural, historical and social heritage that the Mediterranean has been able to create and save up until now.
She is graduated in social and public communication at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome, holds a Master in International Relations and immigration policies at the University of Cadiz (Spain), where he made her first work experience in the field of association, working as activist at the Association Asociacion Pro Derechos Humanos de Andalucia (APDHA).
After that she worked at the association Assemblée des citoyennes et citoyens de la Méditerranée in Brussels (Belgium) as social communicator. She currently works in Casablanca (Morocco), at the Centre Internationale de Coopération Sud Nord (CICSN), head of the national network of the Anna Lindh Foundation Morocco, as communication manager.
